As a biological concept, an animal, or human is one who has fully grown. In the context of humans an adult's term has meanings associated with the legal and social world. Legal adults are those who attains the age of adulthood and is considered autonomous, self-sufficient, and responsible. The word "major" is a term applied to them. 18 years is considered the legal adult age, but this definition can differ according to the nation, lawful rights or psychological development.

The period of human development during which physical and mental maturation has been reached. Many people believe that the age of adulthood begins at age 20 or more. The middle age is around 40 years and then it is followed by an elderly age of 60. There are three main levels of adulthood: beginning in early the age of adulthood (18 until mid-30s), middle adulthood (mid-30s to mid-60s) as well as later adulthood (mid-60s up to the point of death). As we enter early adulthood the body is at its physical maturity to the maximum. However, our body's size and weight could rise. As we enter our early adulthood, our physical abilities are at their highest, including muscular strength, reaction time, sensory abilities, and cardiac functioning.
